The Fuette mini bag captures the lightness and fluidity of chiffon ballet skirts as they swirl in a dancer’s fouetté. INITIAL SKETCH

Challenge
Clean finish for inside-out pouch construction.
Like traditional pouch construction, the bag and lining had to be stitched together inside out. However, the presence of the handles made sewing the side seams more difficult.
Solution
Precise markings were essential to indicate precisely where the stitching should stop, allowing enough space to turn the bag right side out cleanly while keeping the handle placement intact.
Challenge
Balancing soft form with structure.
With such a soft material and unstructured shape, the bag risked collapsing or losing its intended silhouette.
Solution
Using Microfibre to reinforce the external panel, keeping the intended shape without compromising the bag’s slouchy form.
